
Overview
For most high-tensile fasteners the wire needs both a spheroidized structure and a phosphated, drawn surface. Indisteel supplies this complete route from one plant: rod is pickled, spheroidize annealed in a nitrogen-atmosphere bell furnace, pickled again, zinc phosphated, and drawn to the finished size — then inspected and tagged as a finished coil.
Doing every step in-house means one heat number, one lot number and one test certificate cover the whole history of the coil, and the drawing reduction after annealing can be set to give the hardness window your header and heat-treatment cycle need.
